    To get the students familiar with various techniques of identifying textile materials including:
     
    • Preliminary investigation of fibers,
    • Chemical aspect and identification of chemical elements of fibers,
    • Determination of density, melting points and solubility of fibers,
    • Identification of multi components fibers, and
    • Quality and quantitative analysis of binary blends.
