After pattern making, grading and marker making processes should be performed as a part of industrial clothing manufacturing. Various prepared patterns are graded according to the order and related fabric’s characteristics and then pattern orientation in the marker should be optimized. Final obtained markers are sent directly to the automatic cutter or plotter.
In the modern clothing industry, specialized software packages are utilized for pattern making, grading and marker making. This workshop is equipped with Gerber Technology software package version 9 and has 12 pcs for students and a server pc for the teacher. The other related hardware include digitizer to import the information of the paper pattern to the pc and a plotter to plot graded patterns for the manual cutting process.
