Specialized Dyeing Training Workshop (February 19, 2025)

The Specialized Dyeing Training Workshop was held on February 19, 2025, at the Faculty of Textile Engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology. This workshop aimed to enhance the technical knowledge and specialized skills of professionals in the textile industry, specifically in the field of dyeing, and was met with strong interest from experts and specialists in this area.
The course, organized and conducted by the Iran Textile Exports and Manufactures Association (ITEMA) in collaboration with Amirkabir University of Technology, was designed and implemented to address the growing educational needs of the industry in modern methods and optimization of resource consumption.
The main objectives of the course included presenting modern methods for the preparation and dyeing of cellulosic products with the aim of reducing water consumption, introducing two-bath dyeing techniques using disperse-reactive and basic-reactive dyes, showcasing the latest auxiliary materials and dyes, and providing training on the preparation and dyeing of Lyocell fabrics.
Participants, including specialists and industry experts, not only became familiar with innovative techniques and new materials but also enhanced their knowledge and skills in dyeing, gaining the necessary readiness to implement these techniques in their own production units.
Furthermore, the exchange of ideas and experiences between the participants and the course instructor from Turkey, Mr. Mehmet Kaçmaz, was one of the key strengths of this workshop, contributing significantly to its overall effectiveness.
Ultimately, this specialized workshop served as a new milestone in fostering synergy between industry and academia. It successfully addressed the educational needs of textile professionals in the field of dyeing and played a vital role in enhancing their technical knowledge and specialized skills.
