The project of a professor from Amirkabir University of Technology, aimed at raising awareness about pollution in the textile industry and the importance of donating and recycling clothing, was commended at the GAP3 event.
According to the Public Relations Office of Amirkabir University of Technology, the third Progressive Scientific Discourse event (GAP3) was held on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, focusing on the ideas and experiences of women in science.
This event, which aims to simplify science, was organized by the Iranian Science Promotion Association in collaboration with UNESCO, the Iranian National Innovation Fund (INIF), Shahid Beheshti University Science and Technology Park, and the Aseman Andisheh Innovators Network Company.

Out of hundreds of submitted projects, after the evaluation process, 12 projects were presented at the Iranian National Innovation Fund (INIF). They were assessed by representatives from the Iranian National Innovation Fund (INIF), the Department of Environment, Tehran Municipality, the National Research Institute for Science Policy (NRISP), and through an online poll conducted by attendees at the session.
Based on the judges' votes and the conducted surveys, the project titled "Let’s Love Our Clothes" by Dr. Fatemeh Dadashian, a professor at the Faculty of Textile Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, was selected and commended as a distinguished project.
This project has been implemented with the aim of raising awareness about pollution in the textile industry and the importance of donating and recycling clothing.
